hey guys...
in contemplating on what's a wise use of my time, i'm not entirely convinced that xanga is one of those uses. in fact, i think i spend entirely too much time on the internet for my own good, and i'd like to figure out better uses for my time. therefore, i won't be "xanging" all that much. (haha, i trust i won't be missed TOO much in the cyber world... ) have a great week! and i'll see you all around!

bored on a friday night? this hasn't happened in a while... i guess it's still early on, so maybe something will happen.

my mom left for florida yesterday and got there safe. she's spending the week with my grandma because its coming to be the time for her to be placed somewhere that can better care for her than living alone like she is.

i've been loving the whether lately! i love it being warm out again! i love being able to walk outside without a coat on. i love driving around with my window down. i love the sunshine. spring is making its way on over! (although i am prepared for at least one more snow before the winter is over... the whether seems to have a way of making you excited for spring then throwing some snow in your face... but that's life, and i will be thankful either way!)

i guess i'll make myself productive somehow tonight. i'm sure there are things around here that need to be done.

while thinking about love, think about this:

"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lays down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another." John 15:9-17

have a wonderful valentine's day, thinking about the Savior's love for us!

(ps. since it IS valentine's day, do leave some love. [ love =comments])

sledding (or sled riding) makes one tired. it also makes one tired when one's brother nails one in the eyes with a snowball. my eyes aren't staying open very well.

church was cancelled today because of the snow. i usually get annoyed when that happens, but i wasn't annoyed today as much as usual.

my mom's trying to grab the laptop right off my lap.

enjoy the olypmics if you have sports you want to watch on it. not that i've actually watched much of the olypmics. i've been busy.

i have a test tomorrow. have a great night! i'll try to. while studying.

good news, people! the steelers have won the superbowl!

in other news, i was accepted at a member at my church today along with jenn, amanda, cliff, christopher, john, jonathan, and some other married couples. they picked 2 people to give their stories on how they came to crossway church and what made them stay there. i was on of those 2 people who had to share. but as pete was introducing me, he pronounced my name "kee-air-ah" instead of the correct pronounciation "keer-ah". he's called me that before, and my policy is to correct people the first time or so, then let it go, which is the procedure i followed for pete. but, i couldn't let the entire congregation believe that my name is pronounced "kee-air-ah". so before i went into my little speech, i corrected him. with the microphone. in all good humor, of course... anyway, if you want to read what i said, i can e-mail or comment a copy upon your request. brando came up to watch me bcome a member, which was cool. and he stayed for the superbowl party at the herrs.

and the herrs are fun people to experience a superbowl with. and so are the kanes and bron.

and i have a class at 7 am tomorrow.
